Discussion Questions
1. Why were Mary and Martha upset? (Their brother Lazarus was dying.)
2. Why did Mary and Martha send someone to find Jesus? (Jesus could heal their brother.)
3. Why didn't Jesus rush back to heal His friend Lazarus who was about to die? (Jesus knew He had the power over life and death.)
4. How long had Lazarus been dead by the time Jesus arrived? (Four days.)
5. What was covering the entrance to the tomb? (A large stone.)
6. What happened when Jesus called out in a loud voice, "Lazarus come out!" (Lazarus came out of the tomb.)

Raising Lazarus Game
Divide the kids into groups of four.  Assign one to be Jesus, one to be Lazarus and the remaining two to be Mary and Martha.  Mary and Martha will wrap Lazarus with toilet paper (preparing him for burial) into a mummy.  Have the groups race to see who can do this the fastest.  When each Lazarus has been mummified then it is time for round two.  In round two Jesus unwraps Lazarus (brings him to life).
